A collaboration with bees. The ring is cast from the outline at the front of a single hexagon of honeycomb. It is made from shining, recycled sterling silver on a sterling silver band.
NATURAL HISTORY
Honeycomb is built by bees to store pollen and honey and to hold their larvae.
This honeycomb came originally from Virginia-based beekeeper Amanda Welch and her bees at Meeting House Farm.
METAPHOR
Industry and devotion.
GIFTING
All Thicket rings have the option to be given as a gift since knowing someone's ring size and which finger they'd like to wear a specific ring on can be tricky! Place your order for the ring choosing the "give as a gift" option in the size menu and you'll receive a beautiful cardstock card specifying the gifted piece, along with an adjustable ring sizer so they can take their ring size.
