Admiring an luminescent moon as its reflection glimmers upon the lucid tranquility of water, Claire Kahn composes an expression of color that follows moonlight's curious trail, from a full, effulgent glow, to somber glimpses as the darkness takes its place once again. A marvelous illustration of Chiaroscuro as milky white light slowly evolves into the sweeping precipice of night. Skillfully, Claire utilizes masterful discernment of color to eloquently illustrate this transition. Our planetary muse is not left forgotten as the artist strings her composition with two bands, imbued with the irresistible sparkle of pavé diamonds, who demonstrate their influence over the atmosphere that ensues throughout the piece.
