DATE: Victorian, c.1895

A highly unusual antique cluster ring dating from the late Victorian era. The head is a shield (or heart?) shape, and set with old cut diamonds around a central emerald. Very strange to see an asymetrical cluster ring from this period, but it's quite lovely. Modelled in 18 karat gold with platinum settings, it dates from the late 19th Century, circa 1895.
